Investment Banking Analyst or Associate- Boston Office
Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Jefferies is seeking an Analyst or Associate to lead transactions in a highly active capital markets environment - this team executes the full suite of investment banking services including M&A (predominately sell-side), debt financings utilizing Jefferies committed syndicated and direct lending capabilities, and equity capital markets transactions including IPOs, follow-on and growth raises. This is an exceptionally active group executing a high volume of private equity-linked deals. Lead sell-side M&A execution experience is a must. The Boston office houses approximately 50 people and this team consists of ~20 bankers focused on consumer, retail, business services, distribution, and technology transactions related to the automotive aftermarket.
Required Experience/Skills:
• Strong sell-side M&A experience
• Desire to lead transactions
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple parties
• Manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Developed knowledge of private equity market
• Preparation of pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses
• Expert financial modeling and business analysis
• Bachelor's degree (MBA is a plus) from an accredited college or university AND 4+ years of Investment Banking experience
• Desire to live and work in Boston
Salary Range: 110,000-225,000

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
